From NEVEU to GENIBAT …

History

You have to go back to the pre-war years to find the origin of the company NEVEU. Rémy NEVEU, Charles' father founded his small-scale business at Saint-Nazaire of Valentane in 1930 where Charles was doing his apprenticeship.

When he was 18 years old, Charles left to do his "Tour de France" apprenticeship (training with different employers in various parts of France). He mastered the art of supervising construction work and managing a construction site and its teams..

In 1960, on returning home, Rémy fell sick and in order to finish the work and sites in progress, Charles NEVEU created his own company in July, 1961.

In 1972, following a market study, he decided to come closer to a more attractive centre for employment and thus to develop his business. Shifting to the Montesquieu commune at Sainte-Thècle, close to Moissac and Castelsarrasin proved to be the best option.

This transfer became effective in September 1973. The company quickly obtained an image for quality and seriousness by specializing in the renovation of buildings peculiar to the Bas-Quercy and Gascon regions.

The company had a continuous growth until the end of the century.

In April 1999, Charles NEVEU decided to retire gradually.

To ensure the future of his company he approached his nephew, Cyrille PINCANON to succeed him.

From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Cyrille PINCANON started by working on the building sites with NEVEU company's staff, then simultaneously he pursued professional training at various trade guild member companies which enabled him to quickly take up responsibilities in the company.

Realizing then the availability of in-house skills but which could paradoxically become dangerous if we do not anticipate their succession, recruitment of youngsters trained in-house as well as externally became one of the priorities.

He brought in a philosophy and management suited to his times while maintaining the family aspect of the company.

In April 2005, the sale became legally definite; Mr. Cyrille PINCANON bought all the shares from Mr. Charles NEVEU and became the Managing Director of SARL NEVEU.

From 2003 to 2005 the staff increased from 25 to 50 salaried employees and the idea of GENIBAT then took shape.

The idea was to improve the standard of living of its customers by ensuring and assuming the smooth functioning and coordination of the building site on both the architectural and technical plan bringing together all the activities involved in construction with the help of its internal activities : Main building work, framework, roofing, façades, landscaping … Finishing work, woodwork, tiling, plastering, traditional painting and all other decorations …

Our associates are selected with great care by us; they do works of a joiner, plumber, electrician, veneerer, water proofing, swimming pool equipment, marbler, suspended ceiling, wrought-iron craftsman, excavator …

This same company is made of various legal entities which are:

which started on April 1, 2006.
